1. Scope and agreement
These terms cover your use of the Wizarding OS app and this product website, provided by the Wizarding OS developer. Please read them before using the app. If you do not agree, stop using it. Features may differ by installed version, region and configuration; website previews do not promise a release date or availability.
2. App license and Apple terms
For an app obtained through the App Store, the applicable app license agreement governs your software license. Unless a custom license agreement is supplied through App Store Connect, Apple’s Standard End User License Agreement (EULA) applies. These service terms supplement that license and do not replace it or override Apple’s usage rules. Third-party and open-source components retain their respective licenses.
3. Responsible use
Use the app and website lawfully and only with content you have the right to use. Do not infringe other people’s rights, attempt unauthorized access, disrupt services, misuse credentials or bypass security controls. Restrictions do not limit activities permitted by applicable law or an applicable open-source license. If you need a parent’s or guardian’s consent under applicable law, obtain it before use.
4. Your content and credentials
You retain your rights to your plans, projects, collections, memories, journeys and other content. Using the app does not transfer ownership of that content to the developer. Processing or transmission for a feature is limited to what is needed to provide that feature and the permissions you grant. Protect your device, backups and any account or API credentials. If an installed version offers account features, use accurate information and only accounts you are authorized to access.
5. AI assistance and your decisions
The assistant helps organize information and suggest next steps. AI output may be incomplete, inaccurate or unsuitable. Review suggestions and confirm changes before relying on them. You remain responsible for your decisions. The assistant does not provide professional medical, legal, financial or emergency services.
Where remote AI is available and enabled, your conversation and approved reference text are sent to the configured AI provider. Work mode and Chat mode have separate reference selections and permissions. You can review the reference text and disable future references; requests already sent cannot be recalled. Reference records exclude photos and account keys. Provider terms, data practices, availability and charges apply. Do not send information you are not authorized to share.
6. Privacy and backups
Read the Privacy Policy, including its current-feature notice and version scope, for data-handling information. Core records are stored on your device. Keep suitable backups before deleting the app, replacing a device or making significant changes. Export formats may not include every type of content; the documented 0.4.4 JSON backup does not include selected photo bytes or credentials. A login feature alone should not be treated as proof that all local content is synced or recoverable.
7. External content and services
Book information, source links, imports, AI providers and Apple platform services may be supplied by third parties. Their content, availability and terms are outside the developer’s control. Check source information and respect copyright and access restrictions. A link or integration does not grant rights to third-party content or imply endorsement.
8. Prices and purchases
These terms do not announce a paid feature or subscription. If a version offers a paid feature, its price, billing period, renewal and cancellation conditions must be shown before purchase. Purchases made through Apple are handled under the applicable storefront terms; use Apple’s purchase and subscription controls for billing, cancellation and refund requests. Any provider charges for your own AI service account are separate.
9. Availability and ending use
Features may change or be interrupted for updates, technical issues or third-party outages. The developer does not promise uninterrupted access or permanent availability of preview features. You may stop using the app at any time. Export needed records before deleting it. If an installed version provides an account, follow its documented deletion process or contact support; deleting the app alone may not delete a remote account.
10. Warranties and your legal rights
To the extent permitted by applicable law, the app and website are provided as available, without a guarantee that every feature or suggestion will meet your needs or be error-free. Nothing in these terms excludes mandatory warranties, consumer remedies, liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, or other non-waivable rights. Any applicable app license agreement continues to govern its own warranty and liability provisions.
11. Updates to these terms
Material changes will be identified with an updated date and, where appropriate or required, an in-app notice or renewed consent before they apply. Changes are not applied retroactively to remove rights you already hold. The English and Simplified Chinese pages are intended to express the same terms; mandatory local law and consumer protections remain applicable.
